Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question for us? Want to know if it’s time for your next checkup or if we’ll accept your dental insurance? Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions we receive every day. If we didn’t answer your particular question here, just give us a call today!

How often should my family have checkups and cleanings?

Dr. Patel recommends that the average person should have at least two checkups and cleanings per year. Some may require more based on their individual needs, but for most, two is enough to keep them thoroughly protected from tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, and more.

Do you treat children?

Yes! Dream Dental is a family-friendly practice, which means we’re ready and able to treat Woodstock’s littlest smiles. We’ll make your little one feel right at home as we protect them from cavities and make sure they grow up to have a strong, healthy set of teeth.

Are you open on Saturday?

We are open on Saturdays by appointment only, so if you’re too busy during the week to visit the dentist, just give us a call so we can schedule you a convenient weekend time!

I just want my smile to look better. What can you do for me?

What can’t we do is the better question! Our cosmetic services enable us to whiten your teeth, fix noticeable chips and gaps, and even give you a complete smile makeover. Whether you want a small touch-up or something more dramatic, Dr. Patel can help you achieve your dream smile in just a few appointments.

Do tooth extractions hurt?

At Dream Dental, not at all. After completely numbing a tooth with local anesthesia, Dr. Patel won’t actually “pull” the tooth, instead gently rocking it back and forth until the tooth slips out on its own. With this method, the entire procedure is virtually painless from beginning to end.

Do you accept dental insurance?

Yes, Dream Dental accepts most PPO dental insurance plans, and we’ll even file the claim on your behalf to make it as easy as possible to save on your care. Contact us today to learn how we can use your particular plan.

I don’t have dental insurance. Are there other ways I can save on my care?

Yes! Dream Dental actually offers its own in-house membership plan that will give you access to significant discounts on a wide variety of services for just one low annual fee. And, if you would like to finance your care, we also accept payment plans from CareCredit. You can easily sign up for a low-to-no interest plan by clicking on the link on our new patients page.
